Marie Wuytiers-Blaauw

Anna Maria Blaauw was a pupil of M.C.J.H. Roosenboom. On the 10th of July 1890, she married jhr. Barchman Wuytiers. She painted, made watercolours and drew preferably flowers and still lives. She received several awards for her work, including a gold medal at Bordeaux and the Grand Prix at an exhibition in Toulouse. She was a member of Arti et Amicitiae Amsterdam. She lived and worked in Amsterdam, The Hague (1890-1895), Amersfoort (1895-1899), The Hague (1899-1918), Hilversum (1918-1919) and again The Hague (1919 till ca. 1931). Then she moved to Switzerland. She always signed: "Marie Wuytiers".
