Born in Moscow in 1957. Obtained advanced degrees in illustration at the Moscow Art Institute. Illustrated several children's books, but turned to sculpting, more specifically in porcelain. She developed several unique techniques never been used before, setting fewer limits to her creativity. Her ceramic sculptures can be seen in numerous museums in the United States as well as abroad, most notably at the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia.
