She studied at the École des beaux-arts de Montréal, from 1961–64 and then at the Institut des Arts-Appliqués, also at Montréal, from 1964-66. When she finished her studies in Montreal she went to live and study in Paris. From 1966 to 1969 she studied in the studio of Francine DelPierre
