Emile Belet was a painter, designer, and ceramist from the national factory at Sèvres. He also authored a book of designs, La Végétation Sous-Marine published by Armand Guerinet in 1900, and illustrated a collection of designs for Sèvres porcelain, Modèles & documents modernes pour la (porcelaine), la bijouterie et les arts appliqués in the same year.
