Dorsey Reading began his career working with his father in the building trades. He went on to work for Paul Evans, the master craftsman, sculptor, and furniture designer based in New Hope, Pennsylvania. He quickly became his most relied-upon employee, shaping Evans’ drawings into beautiful bronze, steel, slate and verdigris copper pieces.
