Gilded stucco frame: 99.5 x 87 cm
Markings:
Signed ‘Emma G. Richards’ and dated ‘1849’ lower left
Condition:
The paintings are in good condition. Both canvases are relined. The paint surface shows slight overall craquelure. The inspection under UV light reveals overpaintings to the margins and to the figure areas. The frame bears some small bumps and rubbings to the corners and edges
