Markings:

indistinctly inscribed on the reverse of the right canvas

Condition:

The work is in very good condition. There is minor rubbing to the extreme back corners. There are a few scattered flattened impasto peaks with associated minor rubbing, visible only upon very close inspection. The canvases undulate slightly due to the heavy application of paint. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no indication of restoration. The canvases are unframed.
