Condition:

Framed: 67 by 76.5cm., 26? by 30?in. The canvas is lined and very slightly undulating. Inspection under UV light reveals some florescence towards the lower part of the left edge and some small spots of fluorescence along the extreme edges relating to losses to the varnish. There are two small paint losses, one to towards the centre of the upper edge and one to the basket to the left part of the lower edge and a few losses to some of the impasto tips. There are some lines of paint shrinkage and raised lines of craquelure in places. There is some surface dirt and some minor surface accretions. This work is in overall good condition. Condition 11 of the Conditions of Business for Buyers (Online Only) is not applicable to this lot. The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale.
