Condition:

The canvas is unlined and is securely attached to a keyed wooden stretcher. Stretcher marks corresponding to the central-horizontal stretcher member are visible, along with a minor dent in the far lower left corner. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals an area of retouching in the upper left quadrant, in the background and in the sitter's head (also repaired on the reverse) and some other small scattered spots and lines including in the right framing edge and in her cleavage. Overall, this work is in good condition and is ready to hang. Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a nameplate
