1969 Graduated from high school in the district town of Kwangju

1972 Travelled to West Germany where she worked four years at hospital.

1976-81 Studied at the College of Fine Art in Hamburg (HOCHSCHULE FÜR BILDENDE KÜSTE HAMBURG).

1982 Recieved the Hamburg Scholarship

First solo exhibition "My heart is a bottle",at the Hamburger Kunsthalle and the Produzentengalerie Hamburg

1983 Received a Support Arward for Painting　from the Federal German Federation of Industry

1984-85 Studied Korean Art History at the Chonnam University in Korea

1991 Received the Scholarship for Painting from the Kunstfonds e.V.bonn

1992-94 Worked on the film, "My Heart is a Bottle"　in Korea and Germany

1995-97 Was awarded a special prize from the Hessian Film

Prize jury for the autobiographical film ducumentary film

1996 Was awarded the Edwin Scharff Prize for painting of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg

1999 Began working on the film "WOZUHAUS" ("Where is home?") in Korea und Germany.

11- 15 of January, Lecture at the Institute California College of Arts and Crafts, San Francisco.

2003 The film "Where is Home"is completed.
