Ioanna Efthimiou was born in Perth, Australia, by Greek parents. She has studied painting at the University of Fine Arts in Athens-Greece, under artist proff. D.Mytaras. She continued her studies in New York and London (Royal College of Art). She has shown her Art works in more than thirty solo exhibitions in Greece, London, New York, Germany and Austria, among others, and participated in many more group exhibitions as well. Many of her works are in private & public collections in Greece, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, the United Kigdom, Cyprus, the United States and other countries. The greatest part of the artist's work entitled "Ob longing II" belongs to the Royal Family of Morocco. Twelve portraits belong to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II & His Royal Highness Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip, and are currently inside Buckingham Palace, London. Many articles about the artist's work have been written in Greek and foreign press, she has presented her works many times in television as well.
