Edward Pagram was an artist and illustrator who worked with Anthony Burgess among others before moving to Australia in 1965. Edward Pagram lives in Perth, Western Australia. He was an artist in London in the first half of the 1960s and is remembered for his drawing The Barmaid, London, 1963. In 1965 he illustrated The Eve of St. Venus by Anthony Burgess. Pagram was cappointed to the Perth Technical College as a lecturer in painting and illustration, part of an influxc of British-trained artists hired to cope with the expansion of the college, then the Western cAustralia's major art school .
