He is a Raven Clan of Skedans which is part of the Haida Tribe located in the Queen Charlotte Islands of British Columbia, Canada. Ding Hutchingson started at a very early age to learn carving from his uncle who is the chief of Skedans. After 35 years of creative experience, he has developed exquisite details, unique forms, and expression of motifs. His pieces represent the best of Haida design and workmanship.
